Position Overview
We are looking for a Head of Quality who will take ownership of our overall quality strategy: Leading the QA team while also driving quality initiatives across the company. This person will ensure our products, processes, and data meet the highest standards, balancing hands-on involvement with strategic leadership. They will not only guide the QA function but also influence broader areas such as data quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and mentor the QA team, setting clear goals, coaching for growth, and ensuring strong collaboration with engineering and product.
Define and enforce best practices in testing, automation, and defect management.
Quality Strategy & Execution
Build and evolve the quality roadmap for both software and business processes.
Drive initiatives that go beyond QA, ensuring quality standards are embedded across data, reporting, and operational workflows.
Partner with Product and Engineering to integrate quality considerations into planning and delivery from the start.
Day-to-Day Operations
Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting — ensuring timely feedback to development teams.
Review and improve data quality processes, including error detection, validation, and remediation strategies.
Monitor quality KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Support teams in resolving cross-functional quality issues (e.g., in data pipelines, integrations, or reporting).
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
Promote a culture of quality and accountability across the company.
Identify gaps in processes and tools, and lead initiatives to close them.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a quality leadership role (QA, Quality Engineering, or broader Quality Management).
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, automation tools, and quality metrics.
Familiarity with data quality, data pipelines, and/or cloud-based environments (AWS preferred).
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
